四、申請者需具下列資格之一：

1.任職於國內外各大學或研究機構之專職教學、研究人員。

2.具備國內外博士學位者，或即將於 116 年 1 月 31 日前取得博士學位。

3.研究旨趣、教學理念說明、可授課程之課程大綱至少兩門 (大學部及研究所各一門)。

5.博士學位畢業證書掃描檔。若尚未取得博士學位者，須附校方或指導教授所發證明文

件 (116 年 1 月 31 日前可取得博士學位)。

6.學術論文著作及相關資料。

Faculty Position Announcement

Institute of Sociology, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan

The Institute of Sociology at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) invites applications for one full-time faculty positions at the rank of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor, starting from August 1, 2027.

1. Field of Specialization

Sociological related fields.

2. Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:

1) Currently hold a full-time teaching or research position at a university or research institution, either in Taiwan or abroad; or

2) Hold a Ph.D. degree (granted in Taiwan or abroad), or provide official documentation

confirming that the Ph.D. degree will be conferred no later than January 31, 2027.

3. Application Materials

Applicants should submit the following materials by email to the Institute’s office:

1) Application form (downloadable from the Institute’s website under “Latest News”).

2) Detailed curriculum vitae.

3) Statements of research interests and teaching philosophy, along with at least two course syllabi (one undergraduate and one graduate level).

4) Official graduate transcript (for those who obtained their Ph.D. within the past three years).

5) Scanned copy of the Ph.D. diploma. Applicants who have not yet obtained their Ph.D. must provide certification from their university or dissertation advisor confirming the expected completion date (no later than January 31, 2027).

6) Copies of academic publications and other supporting materials (electronic files).

7) Two letters of recommendation, sent directly by the referees either as signed electronic copies or as hard copies by post.
